Help Them LEADStrong

LEADStrong, a 501(c)(3) provides Leadership Education and Development Services for innovative leaders of growing, impactful organizations in the African context.

Research indicates that, for the first time in history, there are more Christians in Africa than on any continent in the world. Conversely, only 15-20% of Africa’s pastors and Christian leaders have any formal training for their work. Many are under educated and under-resourced and yet deeply desire to have the training they need to grow healthy leaders and healthy organizations.

Our vision is to equip and empower the next generation of leaders in the African church with the education, mentoring and coaching, as well as with the organizational development conversations needed to enable their projects to grow and thrive, creating immediate and sustained impact in their communities with Christ-centered excellence.

We aim to make a lasting impact by fostering sustainable growth within these projects. Rooted in respect for cultural identity, we are committed to partnering with leaders of both churches and nonprofits, believing that Africa’s Church is best nurtured by leaders rising from within their own communities to build a thriving and healthy initiatives that are able to winsomely and excellently engage their culture and communities with the love of Christ.

This is achieved through our five main goals:

  1. How We Pursue This Vision

We provide practical leadership education, theological development, and ministry skills designed specifically for the needs and context of African churches and organizations.

  2. Build Sustainable Coaching Programs

Our coaching is relational, personal, and tailored. We aim to strengthen leaders in their spiritual lives, ministry, and organizational leadership.

  3. Foster Community-Led Development

We believe true growth begins with local voices. We ground our work in the ethos and belief that the African church has the answers for Africa. Our programs empower leaders to identify and meet the needs of their own communities, using their own strengths and resources to create relationships and programming of redemptive impact.

  4. Honor and Strengthen Cultural Identity

We celebrate the history, identity, and spiritual heritage of the Church in Africa. Our work is designed to support and strengthen local expression—not to define, direct or replace it.

  5. Build Collaborative Networks

We connect ministry leaders, pastors and Christian organizations in order to help form a growing network of mutual support and encouragement—one that continues long after our partnership is complete.

Our Heart

We believe God is equipping His Church with everything it needs.
Our role is to walk alongside the leaders He is calling:

  • to strengthen what is already there,

  • to encourage what is growing,

  • and to help multiply the fruit of the Gospel.

We trust in Christ to build His Church, and we are honored to support the men and women He has called to lead it.
