Community Development
A local team has been working to address the everyday needs of children, single mothers, and families in their community. Within a short time, they have created a vibrant center offering child sponsorship services, counseling, tutoring, meals, mentoring, and community gatherings. They also opened a satellite site and secured land to expand similar work into an area with even greater need.
We believe God led us into this partnership.
The team invited LEADStrong International to walk with them because Dr. Jones’s experience in counseling and development offers support in areas where they were seeking guidance. Her role includes mentoring the leaders, providing board oversight, and offering the kind of steady input that helps them carry their vision forward.
The goal of this project remains steady and simple: to support a community-led effort that strengthens families, encourages mothers, and creates consistent care for children who would otherwise be without it.
Resources are stretched, demand is growing, and the work is expanding faster than expected — yet the team continues to welcome LEADStrong’s involvement with gratitude. Our part is not to direct their vision but to walk alongside them as they build a ministry rooted in their own community, their faith, and their deep commitment to local families.
